• Puffed quinoa
• White egg
• Dried apricots
• Black chocolate

Let the dried apricots for a night, in a boiled water.
Mix the white egg with 15 g sugar, for 5 min. with mixer.
In the glass you I puted first the dried apricotes, white egg, puffed quinoa and over all the black chocolate.
This is so amazing and healthy dessert.
My kids don’t like very much the quinoa, but when I mix the puffed quinoa with those ingredients they like it so much, and in this way I know that they are taking the healthy benefits of quinoa.
Puffed quinoa it’s different from quinoa that we use as a food, but both of them have a high healthy benefits.

Benefits of puffed quinoa:
Protein Powerhouse: Quinoa is one of few plant foods that provides a complete protein source with all nine essential amino acids. This makes puffed quinoa an excellent post-workout snack when served alongside fruit or as a topping for Greek yogurt.
• High in Fiber: Quinoa puffs are also a good source of fiber, providing three grams per serving. The fiber found in quinoa is beneficial for digestive health. Quinoa puffs contain nearly twice as much fiber as nearly all other grains.
• Rich in Iron: The mineral iron is necessary for the transport of oxygen-rich red blood cells throughout the body, and quinoa puffs are a great source of it.

  1. Is black chocolate the same as dark chocolate? So white egg is meringue, am I correct? I haven’t had quinoa but it sounds like something I should have. The dessert looks simple yet fulfilling and delicious

    1. Thanks so much for comment Andale, I guess is the same black and dark. Yes I mixed with hand mixer the white egg.

  2. Interesting idea of how to enjoy quinoa. I never thought you can have the grains as a sweet dessert. I might try it though I probably have to swap the dark chocolate with milk chocolate as my kids are not really keen with the dark one 🙂
